Question: If a man’s wife is from a city i.e Bradford and after marriage she moves to the city her husband is from i.e Birmingham. Does this mean the husband has to read full Salah when he is in Birmingham and when he is in or going to Bradford?
Husband’s real place of abode ( Watan e Asli) is where he is residing with his wife. If he leaves this place with an intention to travel as far as 92 KM or 57.2 Miles, soon as he comes out of dwelled area of his town, he will become a traveller in Sharia. He will now perform Qasr(reduced prayer) unless he intends to stay in any place for more than 14 days. His In-laws’ home will not be his real place of abode, so he will still perform Qasr unless intending to stay there for more than 14 days.
